The 8th Grade A Team lost a close game to the Cross Timbers Wolves 14-0. The Cougars were tied going into halftime 0-0 and played their hearts out on defense. The second half was a different story where the Cougars gave up a couple of big plays that Wolves took advantage of and were able to score on. The players of the game for the Coppell Middle School North Cougars A Team were Cameron Abrash, Alex Garcia, and Jeter Brito.

The 8th Grade B Team played an even closer game against Cross Timbers but came up short with a 6-0 loss. The Cougars had a chance at the end of the game to tie it up or even take the lead with the extra point, but the Wolves held their stand in the Red Zone and shut the Cougars down. The players of the game for 8th Grade B Team were Marco Ramos, Gautham Muresh, and Santiago Zurita.
