The Cross Country Meet of Champions, hosted by all three Coppell Middle Schools, took place on October 29th at Andy Brown West. The top 10 runners from each division and each middle school competed in this season-ending event and North made an incredible showing, both individually and as a team!

?? 8th Grade Girls – DISTRICT CHAMPIONS!
Our 8th grade girls dominated the competition, earning the 2025–2026 district title with an impressive team score of 37 points. Four North runners — Angie Nguyen, Kate McGrath, Mileena Garcia, and Mirabelle Sagel — all finished in the top 10. Angie Nguyen led the way, taking 2nd place overall with a final 2-mile time of 13:08.96.

?? 8th Grade Boys – 5th Place
The 8th grade boys’ team finished strong, placing 5th overall with 113 points. Oscar Martin led North with a solid performance, finishing his 2-mile race in 12:18.27.

?? 7th Grade Girls – 2nd Place
Our 7th grade girls’ team earned an impressive 2nd-place finish with 58 points, coming in just behind Cross Timbers. Madeline Kholer had an incredible race, taking 2nd place overall—just 0.24 seconds behind the district champion! Karissa Hansen and Samvrita Sunhil also finished in the top 10, helping secure the Cougars’ podium finish.

?? 7th Grade Boys – 4th Place
The 7th grade boys put up a strong effort, placing 4th overall with 96 points. Caleb Rose finished 2nd with a time of 11:47.97, and Ben Peiffer took 4th with 11:52.69, both turning in outstanding performances.
