The 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams recently wrapped up their seasons with an exciting run in the district tournament! Both teams entered the tournament as the 3rd seed, facing off against 6th-seeded Coppell West in the opening round and both came out on top to advance to Round 2.
?? 7th Grade Team – 3rd Place Finish!
 The 7th grade Cougars battled hard throughout the tournament. After falling to Cross Timbers in Round 2, they took on top-seeded Grapevine Middle School in the third-place match — and came away victorious! Clara Champagne led the charge with multiple kills throughout the tournament, while Gia Reyes, the team’s libero, anchored the defense with outstanding play.
?? 8th Grade Team – 3rd Place Finish!
 The 8th grade North girls also claimed third place after an intense, three-set battle against Colleyville Heritage. The first set ended in a close 27–29 loss, but the Cougars fought back to take the second set 25–23. In the third and final set of their middle school careers, the team showed heart and determination, closing out the match 15–13 to seal the win. Annabelle Ross led the tournament with 27 kills and 8 aces, while Brylee Felix added an impressive 21 kills and 9 aces.
