Coppell Middle School North A Team Holds Off Colleyville in 3-2 Thriller
The Coppell Middle School North A Team secured an exciting 3-2 victory over Colleyville Middle School in a fast-paced and hard-fought match.
North wasted no time getting on the board, as Sergio Exposito Perez scored within the first five minutes of the game. Just two minutes later, Sergio struck again, giving North an early 2-0 lead and setting the tone with an aggressive offensive start. Diego Cuberos assisted both goals. Colleyville responded in the second half, scoring on a long shot from about 20 yards out that slipped past goalkeeper Diego Rodriguez. Shortly after, Colleyville added another goal on a penalty kick following a foul in the box, tying the game at 2-2 and shifting the momentum.
With the game on the line and just three minutes remaining, Ben Peiffer delivered the game-winning goal to put North back in front 3-2. The team held strong in the final minutes, showing composure and determination to close out the win.
Defensively, North battled throughout the match, with contributions across the back line and key minutes from both goalkeepers, Brooks Ford and Diego Rodriguez.

The Coppell Middle School North B Team delivered an outstanding performance in a commanding 7-0 victory over Colleyville Middle School.
North controlled the game from the opening whistle, applying constant pressure on the offensive end and keeping possession throughout the match. The team’s effort quickly paid off as they began to build a strong lead with efficient finishing and unselfish play.
Preston led the way with an impressive hat trick, scoring three goals and consistently creating scoring opportunities. Diego Sanchez added to the total with a well-placed low drive into the bottom corner, while Liam Dow followed with a strong finish into the bottom right of the goal.
Capping off the night, Josh found the back of the net in the final seconds of the game, sealing the dominant performance and bringing the total to seven goals.
Defensively, North remained solid the entire match, shutting down Colleyville’s attack and earning a clean sheet. It was a complete team effort, with strong communication, teamwork, and energy from start to finish.
