Last night the Lady Cougars went up against Trinity Springs. 7th played at home, while 8th grade teams were on the road. 7th grade C team played a great match in all sets. The girls have shown tremendous improvement and are continuing to enhance their volleyball skills. Unfortunately, C team lost in 3 sets, but their coaches could not be more proud of the way the team played. Player of the game for C team was Yalini Muthukumar for stepping up with some big hits on the front row. B team also played a great 3 sets and were very close to securing a victory as well. Player of the game is Corie Caltin for her overall contribution to her team in both serve receive and front row play. A Team had an eventful match versus Trinity Springs, falling short in the first set 25-13, but coming back fired up in the second set winning 25-22. They secured the win by winning the third set 15-13. A Team worked together as a team, all 9 players last night were disciplined and energized. Player of the Game goes to Lydia Kennington for her amazing defense and court awareness. Great job, A Team!
