The game played on April 14th, 2022 at undisclosed location. Actually, I am sorry parents for that surprise game location switch. The communication was not made by Hillwood that their games would be played at an alternate site. We knew that Hillwood was going to be a challenging game, they are well-coached and had the speed to finish.

I am so proud of our team, cause when we were down three goals we had an injury timeout. The boys agreed that we could match their play and we did. We had a quick return of two goals score by Emmanuel Mendez that looked like it went through the side of the net (it was off the keeper, I had to watch it several times) and Christian Canon with a quick touch right in the box. They returned one more goal, making it 4-2. Big points came with three minutes left to play by Bruno Castillo, hitting a shot from the left to finish the scoring with 3-4. The B team won 2-1, never making me nervous. Thank you boys. Shamus I think you did score this game! And the other goal is escaping my memory. (email me please)

One of the sweetest moment for me was on the way to the game I hear all the boys talking as normal 13 year old boy convo, nothing too important, mostly about their food and gaming. Then just as I merging from 121 to 114 and 635 joins you know when it goes to 8 lanes and having to get over three lanes in a slow bus..... I hear the whole bus in a familiar choral... "happy birthday to you" Through the whole song it took all I had not to cry. Which I don't do that anyway. I'm the boys coach.. lol How sweet our your boys!!!
