Your North Cougars headed to Fort Worth to take on Fossil Hill. Unfortunately, Fossil Hill did not have a C team so the first game of the night was the B-teams. North came out on FIRE! North was able to win the first set 25-8! Fossil Hill was up for a fight for the next set and did not want to go down without a fight! North was able to put them away with a 25-22 victory. The Player of the game goes to Grace Norris with an amazing around game capped off with some of the best hits of the season.
The A-teams were up next and once again North came out absolutely crushing every aspect of the game. Taking set one 25-13. However, once again Fossil Hill was not going to go down without a fight. North was able to squeak out a 25-23 victory. The player of the game goes to Landry Koski-Barger for a dependable 6-rotation player and a constant voice on the court!
Thursday night, your 7th grade North Cougars faced Fossil Hill in their second home game of the season! The girls were ready to once again defend their home court. Up first, the C team was pumped up and excited to get on the court! In the first set, your girls won 25-17 with incredible serving and confidence on the court. In the second set, the C team won again 25-16. Their first home game win!! We are so proud of this team! The player of the game for C team is Abigail Imwold. She had some incredible passes to the setter and was a constant encouragement to her teammates. Good job Abigail!
Next up, our B team was ready to play after cheering on the C team. They were motivated to secure a second win on their home court! In the first set your B team won 25-15 and Sia Hirani had a 10 point serving streak! In the second set your North Cougars secured their second home game win 25-11! We are so proud of their growth and confidence. The player of the game for B team is Bella Marvin! She moved her feet and got to every single ball! She constantly has a positive attitude.
Last up, the A team brought great energy, ready to continue their winning streak. The first set was a tough battle, but your North Cougars won 25-20! Fossil Hill came back ready to win the second set, but The A team secured their 4th win on their home court 25-15! Great job A team! The player of the game this week goes to Eraina Wilkins! She communicated consistently with her teammates and was prepared to get every ball. We are ready for our next game to continue the streak!
