The Cougars had a rough start to the 2020/21 basketball season. In their opening night, they were swept by the East Broncos.
The C team game was the one bright spot for the Cougars. Although East made a quick start to the game, going up by double digits, the Cougar defense locked them down in the second half with multiple steals. A stellar run by Evan Meekins in the 3rd quarter (8 points) put the Cougars within striking distance. But, ultimately the Broncos won by 2 points. The A team was lead by Isaiah Fleming in scoring with 7 points and the B team was lead by Tyree Roberson with 12 points. All 3 teams hope to have a bounce back week at Wilson MS on Monday.
