Last Thursday, the North Cougars took on the Keller as their last game before winter break.

C team started off strong but could not get a rhythm going. The Comanches proved to be too much in the end. Player of the game is Sophie Depew for her aggressive driving and bring the ball down the court. High scorer of the game is Hannen Awad and Yaleidi Lopez.

B team struggled to get into a flow of the game. We could not finish at the basket and that caused us not to be successful. High scorer of the game is Payton Beczak.

A team started of slow but picked it up after half time. The girls played great, but we were in foul trouble and struggled at the free throw line. Higher scorer of the game goes to Maizy Gillam and Neveah Carter both with 8 points. Player of the game goes to Neveah Carter for playing aggressive and not being afraid to take the basketball to the rim.

All athletes get a shoutout because they had to play roles they have never had before, and they did a good job of accommodating. We are all ready for a restful break, but excited for the next half of basketball.
