The Cougars hosted Adams MS on Monday night. The C team struggled early on but finally dialed in late in the game. It was too little too late for the C team Cougars. Jorge Sanchez lead the team with 6 points.
After a rough showing last Saturday, The A team came out and played a more inspired brand of basketball. It was a tough game the whole way, that saw the Cougars trailing all game. A strong 15 point 4th quarter put them in striking distance, but there just wasn't enough clock left. Crew Davis lead the way with 10 points.
The B team stayed on track with another great game. Max Gruwer was hot from beyond the arc for the 2nd game in row, knocking down 4 three's. He lead the team with 17 points. Not to be outdone, Tyree Roberson had 3 triples of his own, rounding out the night with 12 points. Will Kennington was a force on the defensive side, with 7 steals that helped him to 9 points. Roberson also had 6 steals.
