7th grade c-
Player of the game is Kate Sierra and Mia Magnacca for their strong passing and awesome communication. Their hard work paid off with a win this week against the Titans. Overall it was their smart game play and superior skills that sealed the deal for the Cougars.

7th grade b-
Player of the game is Naomi Nickell and Catherine Conger, for their tough serving! As well as Corie Catlin, for stepping up and contributing by being a big force at the net and covering tips.

7th grade A-
The 7th Grade A Team was down several players going into this weeks game versus TIdwell Middle School… and although they were not able to leave with a win, they worked together as a team and encouraged each other throughout the entire match. Player of the game is Hailey Chew for her court leadership, positive attitude, and flexibility taking over a new position. Looking forward to another week of learning and growing as a team!


8th Grade C Team: 25-21, 21-25, 15-2
This week marked the first win earned by our C team. They were able to showcase their understanding of the game and overall aggressive game play aided in their victory over the Tidwell Titian. Christina Esbede-Arowora helped bring the team to a win through smart play and stellar serves.

8th grade B Team: 17-25, 25-9, 11-15
In a tug of war for the win B team barely missed their mark by 4 points against Tidwell. Playing hard till the end their true colors showed as serious competitors during the final set. Hemi Riojas Daza led her team to victory by communicating efficiently and effectively with her teammates on and off the court, taking charge any time she stepped foot on the court.

8th grade A Team: 25-14, 17-25, 12-15
A team put up a fight against the Titans for 3 sets but barely missed the win by points. Overall the team played a cohesive game, Player of the Game this week for A team with her all around game play is awarded to Kylee Brandenburg for her versatility in playing multiple positions, stepping up her defensive game, and proving to be a solid passer in serve receive.
