8th Grade C Team: The C Team had an aggressive win over Hillwood 24-16! They hustled, were coachable, and showed tremendous fight. Player of the game is Erin Richardson.. a player who leads by example, and is the epitome of the quote “It is not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog”. Erin scored 6 points and had 4 steals. Great job, Erin!

8th Grade B Team: B Team pulled out a win against Hillwood 37-6, scoring 16 points in the first quarter. Player of the game is Kenzie Marlin, having scored 11 points, with 3 steals and 2 rebounds… Kenzie is a player who is dependable, and has a passion for the game of basketball. If you haven’t gotten a chance to watch our B Team play, you are missing out! Awesome game, ladies.

8th Grade A Team: A Team finished the night off with a dub 34-20.. Although they were missing a few players, their energy was unmatched last night! Player of the game is Nihira Nadgonde with 8 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 steals. To top it off Nihira also proved she could handle the pressure shooting 50% on free throws! Way to finish strong, A Team!


7th Grade C Team: This week C Team traveled to Hillwood Middle for their second game of the season. C Team brought home their second consecutive win of the season. Their _____ point lead is proof of their hard work at practice all week. These two young athletes share the title of Player of the game, although everyone showed marked improvement, Raina Patel and Avery Fishman were the epitome of leadership on the court last night. Also with a special mention to Mia Magnacca for scoring 6 points for her team in layups alone.


7th Grade B Team: Matching the energy of C Team, B took home the second win of the night at Hillwood. Ending the game with a score of _______. This week we turn our attention to Lydia Kennington as the Player of the Game. She was one of the lead play-makers of the night using her speed and agility against her opponents. Special shout out Anna Grace Gaunt for sinking an astonishing 3 pointer mid game.


7th grade A team: A Team kept the victory train rolling last night securing the last game of the evening with a score of ______ . The girls kept their cool when they fell behind by one point in the 1st quarter but quickly recovered. Jayci Lackey, blowing her opponents out of the water racking up 16 points and assisted by Brooke Felix with another 8, and Riley Koisky-Burger Overall it was a team effort to bring home Coppell North’s Girls 7th Grade Basketball program its 6th consecutive win. Player of the game showed vocal leadership on the court, kept a level head each quarter not letting the excitement of the game throw her off, Landry Koisky-Burger. Way to go Lady Cougars!
