The 8th Grade girls hit the road for Medlin last night in their first game after Thanksgiving Break. The C Team started off the night, a few players down but you wouldn’t have known it! Although they fell short 11-23, they hustled their butts off and put extreme pressure on the Medlin Mustangs with their defense. Player of the game is Karis McNeese for her ability to step up and be a dominating force for her team with 3 steals, 2 rebounds, and 2 points. Great job, Karis!

The B team came to play last night as always, securing the win 27-18! They were flexible in their adjustments around Medlin’s tall posts, and worked together as a team tremendously. Player of the game is Allison Hollas, for her aggressive defense and her consistent hustle throughout the entire match… Hollas had 8 steals and 5 points!

The A Team wrapped up the night for 8th grade… Although they weren’t able to pull out the win with a score of 14-32. They got an opportunity to run their offense, had great ball movement, and learned a lot about how to compete against a group of big/ dominate posts. Player of the game is Kylee Brandenburg, who was able to prove that she could compete with size. She was a rebounding machine and we are so proud of her! Congratulations, Kylee.

Our 7th grade girls brought down the house at their first home game of the season. C Team started off strong against Medlin. Despite coming back from a long break the girls quickly came together and found their groove, finishing the game with a score of 21-7 .
