North Coaches | 1/13/2023

North hosted Argyle and first up were the C teams! This was the C team's second game of the season and they were ready to play! North fought their heart out! Argyle was able to take home the win 32-18 but North played amazing! The player of the game goes to Zoe Harrison for being the leading scoring and a great leader on and off the court.
Next up were the B teams and Argyle came out the gate ready to play. North falls 47-3. The player of the game goes to Amy Paek for her great defense on their best player and her tireless effort.
The A teams finished the night but unfortunately the outcome was the same. Argyle wins 52-7. The player of the game goes to Aniah Coleman for her great aggressiveness and fierce rebounding. Even though North did not come away with any wins tonight we are beyond proud of how they never stopped fighting and continue to grow as a team.
Come support us next week as we take on Keller at Keller.

The 7th grade North Cougars traveled for the last time to Argyle Middle School. After a long break from playing in a game, your girls were ready and excited to get on the court. The C teams were up first, scoring 4 points in the first half. In the second half, Argyle secured the victory 9-33. The player of the week for C team is Brennan Ford. Brennan played almost the entire game and led her team defensively. She played helpside defense and stopped the opposing team from scoring under the basket. Great job, Brennan!

Next up were the B teams ready to play. North played hard, but Argyle took the victory again, 3-34. We are proud of the girls for running a new defense, and playing their hearts out! Player of the game this week goes to Alexa Boudreaux. Alexa put our only points on the board by sinking a three, leading our offense. She also played helpside defense under the basket well, leading our defense. Proud of you, Alexa!

Last up was the A team! Your A team fought hard, knowing this would be a challenging competition. Argyle took the victory again 44-11. We are so proud of these teams and their hard work. They did not stop fighting and gave their best effort! Player of the game for A team goes to Faith Law. Faith was everywhere on the court! She played hard and led her team. Coach Martens did not want to take Faith out of the game! Way to go, Faith!
