This week is an unusual week for your North Cougars! There was only one game this week and it was the B team of North verus a mix of A and B for Indian Springs. Your North Cougars fought their heart out but ultimately came up short losing 24-21. The players of the game goes to the whole North team for playing fiercely all game long!

North played their final home game last night, and were ready to secure their last home win! C teams were up first, and the game was off to a great start. In the first half, your North Cougars were up 14- 6, playing an incredible offensive game. Your C team won 24-16 and secured that win! The C team player of the game goes to Rachel Howe. Rachel is a strong offensive player with her confident drives to the basket. This was one of the best games this team has played, and I am so proud of their hard work! Way to go C team and Rachel!

Next up were the B teams. They played a strong offensive game as well- and started strong! In the first half, your North Cougars were up 23-10. Averie Gonzales sunk 3 threes and the crowd was going crazy! In the second half B team secured the win 40-21. This was also the strongest game the B team has ever played. I was so proud of these girls offensively and defensively. B team player of the game goes to Katelyn McCoppin and Bella Marvin. Katelyn found her confidence in this game and was shooting every chance she got! She was grabbing the ball and driving to the basket. Katelyn played a great offensive game! Bella Marvin is a valuable player on this team. She is small- but so mighty! Bella was our top rebounder and aggressive player. I am so proud of these girls, and this team.

Last up were the A teams. A team was fired up to play and finish the night with a clean sweep. In the first half your girls were up 12-7. It was a close game but your girls fought for the victory and won 31-17. All teams hard work paid off. We are so proud of this team and this season. Only one game left! Player of the game for A team goes to Morgan Proctor. Morgan stood out last night for her energy and confidence on the court. She drove to the basket more times that we could count. She is a valuable asset to this team. Great job, Morgan!
