Cougar Soccer Played to the Max

North Boys Coach vs Keller MS | 4/30/2022

Coppell Middle School North Boys Soccer played all out on Thursday, April 28th in Keller, Texas. The game took place at Indian Field, iconic for its triple and long jump runways that rest on the edges of the playing field. The A team anticipated this game to be difficult the 2-1-0 team was back from injury and not missing due to the Dallas Cup tournament. The Indians played with the wind the first half scoring two goals the cougars would counter in the second half with a goal made by Captain Brooks Kaiser, in last 7 minutes of play. Then the Indians scored one more goal in the second half to seal the deal. The Cougars hustled for four more attempts but the Indians maintained their defensive approach to end with the 3-1 victory. This was he fastest pace game the cougars have played this season.
That faster play continued into the B game as well. The North Boys soccer team also ran to match the Keller B team play. The Indians scored three in the first half , but the Cougars held them to no score in the second. The final result was 3-0 , Keller. This was the first defeat for the North Boys B team this season. Each player agreed that this was the most physically demanding game so far.

This coming Tuesday, North Middle School soccer teams take on West. The boys will play at Cougar Stadium starting at 5:00 p.m.
